How much is the safe worth... replacement wise. I would be inclined to sell it, and buy a new one here. Have you looked into having a 40'container delivered instead of a POD? It is a hell of a lot cheaper, and you could put your safe and guns in that. No 'co policy' crap.

I would be worried about getting arrested. Sure they could come in the dark of night, but why go through all of that when you can schedule your "meeting". I don't have a lawyer, but I would not be their either. Across the street in the neighbors house, or maybe in the woodline. I know...

I couldn't convict someone who killed a violent felon, who had recently attacked them. Regardless of what the letter of the law says. I say, "good stick.."

Then it is gonna suck when I am on a jury. I am going to use common sense, common reading of law (as understood my me... the legal imbecile, and my actual experience of witnessing the police perjure themselves under oath.

The living trust angle will keep you from having to ask for the CLEO's permission. Also let's you avoid getting fingerprinted. Faster turnaround time too!
