Does anyone only have one handgun?

I only have 2 autos, and they are both BHP's. I have never had a handgun that felt better in my hands than a BHP. I also have a few revolvers, a .38sp, 2 .357's and a 44mag. I keep the .38sp for the wife( she likes it ) and the kids like the .357's, especially the Python. I don't keep anything...

    Hi-Power Questions

I can't speak for the FM or FEG, as both my Hi-Powers are Brownings, but I can tell you that after thousands of rounds through them, I have never had an FTF yet. Once you put your hand on one, you will know that you want one. They feel that great in your hand, and they point incredably well.

I had a pleasant expierience @ the PD today.

Boy, and I thought California was bad. At least I don't have to run around and do all the BS stuff you guys do in MI. I do believe you can have AR's and AK's though. Wish I could. :(

What guns aren't available in California that you guys like the most?

You can buy FAL clones in Cali, just without the pistol grip, or with a 10 round fixed mag. ARS, DSArms, and other manufactures will sell you one. Gun Manufactures have to submit 3 samples for the drop test, and those 3 samples will be destroyed after being tested. It also cost them 3k per...

    Shot a Yugo SKS

Atascadero I hear there is lots of good piggy hunting that way. :) At under 150 yards, that Yugo would do its job if you do yours on piggies under 200 pounds. :D Your'e gonna love shooting your SKS, and cheap to shoot too. A thousand rounds for about $85.00 at the guns shows. Please be sure...

    Shot a Yugo SKS

The Yugo's are the cheapest SKS's on the market today. You can usually get them for under $200.00 (including DROS), look around, $250.00 is too much! I take it that you are from South Kali, since you mentioned Santa Maria, so I can't help you since I'm in the central valley close to the Bay...

    Colt Revolvers?

I only have one Colt, and it's a Python. I love it! I shoot it, and it is VERY accurate. As to it's reliability? I shoot it often and have never had a problem with it. I have had it about 5 years now and it was bought used. The person who had it before probably didn't fire it very very often, if...

Poland to hang tough - Chides Spain

Quote from Adam "Hello from Warsaw! Spanish declarations are very dangerous for us. It's like clear message for Al Kaida - try it again it's working. We are next country on the list, but we are as ready as we can be. I pray for our safety, but even the worst scenario can't change our course...

    Loosing interest in the 9MM

Quote "Loosing interest in the 9MM After getting a 10MM and a .45 I have been loosing interest in keeping my G19 for anything. I do have and will keep the Hi-Power, but I feel now that the Kimber is going to take over as my CCW weapon that I have no need for the Glock. Is this uncommon...

    Brigade Gunleather?

My wife ordered a holster for my from these people, back towards the first part of November in 2003. It took them 4 months and me threatening them to finally get my holster. The holster is a decent fitting holster and I can't complain about it, but I certainly didn't like having to wait 4...

    44Mag vs 10mm for hogs?

I would never use hollow points on Hogs period, but a SP through either would do the job. You can't go wrong with either chioce. I use a 629 as my backup, because that's all I got.

    My first SKS!!!

I used brake cleaner on my Yugo to get the cosmoline off. I'm sure that carburetor cleaner will do the same thing, just be sure to spray lots of fluid in there to get all the gunk out of it. Don't worry about the accuracy. It will kill any target you have. It is not a tack driver, but it is fun...

    My first SKS!!!

Well I can't help you on the scope part, but be sure that you take it all apart and clean the firing pin really good. The pin holder is pretty hard to get out but giving it a few good wacks with a hammer and punch should do it. After it's cleaned, the firing pin should rattle in the housing. If...

    sks which one?

Like any surplus weapon, it MUST be taken apart and throughly cleaned, before firing. The firing pin can be taken out and cleaned up so you won't have the slamfiring problems. I would suggest that you load 2 rounds at a time, this way you will know for sure that you won't have a slamfire if the...

    Nickel, blued or stainless?

I just love Blued guns, wheel guns or autos, doesn't make any differance. I do have a Stainless 629, but that's only because I couldn't get it in blue. :( BLUE
