    Badlands Tactical 3-gun After A

For those who are interested here's my review of Badlands 3-gun course which I took in mid June Chris I recently had the opportunity to attend Badlands Tactical Training Center’s 5-day Tactical 3-Gun course. The course was designed after receiving requests that covered handguns, rifles, and...

    Glock 31 Pros and Cons

We've had issues with the rear slide rails breaking off. Alot. My sergeant has been through three of em. I've had no issues with mine. If you intend on doing a lot of shooting with it be aware that it may break.

Five steps of a traumatic encounter

From On Killing by Colonel David Grossman, "the basic response stages to killing in combat are concern about killing, the actual kill, exhilaration, remorse and rationalization and acceptance." pg 231.

    10) "God, that must really suck to hand carry that jug of what... probably fuel," I thought. I followed behind the guy, blue jeans, khaki shirt. He smartly delt with the missionaries, but I noticed him "sweep" his back. That confirmed it he was armed. We need Kevin's assistance, but doubt...

    Standard issue LEO gear?

Bull. show me some facts here. I went to the academy with some petite but tough as hell broads. It's not that they can't "handle" X, Y, Z caliber it's that they lack fine motor control. the women had more problems with shooting and driving. In defensive tactics they did pretty good. I'd...

What's the difference between NATO and regular ammo?

Oh yeah. American Eagle .223 is loaded to Nato spec. So is XM193 by Federal. Look for a circle and crosshairs stamp on the base of the cartridge.

An example of the use of force issues that are brought up in civil actions

Likely not. Guy had a knife which is a deadly weapon, by raising it and stepping forward was closing distance. I and many other LEO will not handicap myself with a less lethal weapon in lethal weapon fight. I love the taser to death. Awesome tool, most effective intermediate weapon, but...

Should LEOs have more "rights" than non-LEOs?

No bro, I really agree with Art. I made my statements earlier in this thread... Paraphrasing Techumsa, he just wants to repeal LEOSA, no matter the fact that it's a small advancement (and fricken smart) in an attempt to get a nation wide CCW passed. However what has ever advanced out of...

    Big dot sights??

I have a set on my 32. Right now I'm shooting way low at 7 yds. Good group, but at that close it should be POA/POI. Granted it's for speed, not accuracy but I want the bullet to hit where the front sight is. I spoke with XS and they told me it's natural to shoot low when first using them...

    recrowning

A couple days ago I was doing my LEO PT assessment and my holster failed, resulting in my personal owned offduty weapon hitting the ground pretty hard. Now the crown has numerous dents that extend into the bore, the deepest is about 1/16" back from the muzzle. Will a re-crowning, fix and...
