I had one for a sig 239 briefly and was quite impressed with it. It should work well for a commander length gun. Might be a bit high ride for a 5".

Beretta 92 floorplates work great on compact mags to eliminate that finger bite. Also, for reloads, you can take a standard 16 round mag and put the floorplate of an SP-01 19 round mag on it - functions perfectly as an extended mag for the compact. Snugs up tight and gives you the grip length...

I like the factory wood grips. They are noticeably thinner than the rubber or plastic, and look like a million bucks. They come in full and half checkered. joe
