Springfield range officer or sti Trojan/ Spartan. Or keep your eyes out for used one scored a lightly used les baer thunder ranch special for 1k not too long ago
ive been running a comp-tac minotaur for a few years carrying a 29 or a 19 fits awesome, don't notice it being there once you get it set where you like it
yes around me new the trp operator half rail is around 1700 new. I picked one up at a friends shop for 1500 new not too long ago and love it, I don't find the bushingless set up that much of a pain in the ass as most. I love the gun, enjoy it more than my thunder ranch special
Money, LEO's at least around me put a contract out saying they need 30 new duty pistols and the manufacturers put out a bid on them and they usually go with the lowest. Usually it ends up around here being glock or m&p's. My friends dept got xdm's and there was almost a revolt over that because...
it is decent I would say mine didn't hold up any better or worse than the stock tennifer. I got probably 5 to 6 months out of both where the top of the slide where it rounds and the muzzle area was shiny metal. But that is in a kydex holster with classes and draw practice. Ill try to snap a...
my mother is the same size and I picked her up a glock 42 for her birthday and she loves the thing as well as all of her friends. She shoots it well and can manipulate it way easier than the lcp she had before that. She can also run my 17 pretty well.
when I got into shooting I did keep track then I stopped caring. When people ask how many rounds through the gun I just say a bunch. I started doing defensive courses and competitions and it was a little hard to keep track at them so just said to hell with keeping track
I had the springfield range officer in 9mm and it was an excellent shooting gun, super accurate, and reliable. Sold it for something shinier that caught my eyes, kind of wish I still had it
Im not so sure the intent was to make them "pretty" yes the butterfly was some flair but stippling I have found very useful after a combat shooting course in the rain. The undercut is nice for people who get glock knuckle. I would say its more towards utilitarian.
