    Questions on Remington 1100

Thanks for the information. I think I will just clean it up and try shooting some clays with it. I still need to find a 12g but for $50 it was hard to pass on.

    Questions on Remington 1100

I recently acquired a Remington 1100 20g and was trying to find some information about it. I checked for dates, but the barrel markings on the left side do not match the dates (ARPR) and the serial number on the receiver is L100462X. Any idea what I have? It is all original with some surface...

    FBI Selects Glock. What model?

Most agencies when buying Glocks will only pay 50-100 for each gun. They get a good discount because the supplying vendor usually buys the agencies current gun (usually more then what they are worth used to help sweeten the deal) and the agency is only required to pay the difference (trade in...

    New toy in house tonight

My dad left me one and I never really looked into it until I read this post. I plan on keeping it and just dated it to 2010. It's a pretty interesting gun and may become my pocket gun shortly...thanks for the post.

    Glock 43

I really like my G43. It has become one of my favorites to shoot and is so easy to shoot and conceal . I like your holster and mag pouch. I ended up with alien gear iwb and owb.

Is there a difference in gas blocks?

I have several and thought about that as well until I was told it is easier to just put a new undrilled FSB on then use an old one. That is usually not one part I tend to reuse.

Is there a difference in gas blocks?

If your front gas block is good and you are a little handy with a dremel or saw, you can cut yours down and keep it pinned. I have seen this done with nice results and gives you a low profile that will fit under most handguards. Here is a link to one of many articles...

Buffer weight and the 300 AAC Blackout

While I know I don't have as many rounds down range as the experts, I am running a McGowen 16" Blackout with pistol gas length, carbine buffer, and non-adjustable gas block. I am shooting 125g, 150g, and 168g supersonic with zero issues. I am making a suppressor once I get my tax stamp. I...

    Expensive AR lower worth it?

I have built on the following lowers for: Spikes Anderson Anvil Arms BRS Noveski Colt My go to has always been the colt and the one I regret getting rid of is the Noveski (could not pass up the price offered). Those I used a lot. My nicest (billet upper/lower, custom paint job, etc) is the...

AnotheR hunting rifle, but in 7.62?

You came here bragging about your new rifle and get mad when people give you advice or comments. If you don't like it why would you post? I have had two bolts break in the last year with less then 500 rounds fired. I was told by many to keep spare bolts as this is still common. I have seen...

Used barrel and gas block...what's it worth?

That should be a good price if the round count is low. If you know what kind of accuracy you were getting and maybe some pictures that would help as well. I would post here as well as a few other forums that deal with 6.8 or AR's (Don't want to post those address here as I would do the same if...

Any thoughts on these two trimmers?

Ok, I am about to drop the hammer on a new trimmer until I heard someone talking about this trimmer. http://leeprecision.com/news/new-products-for-2015.html Is this any good? A lot cheaper and appears to be a good product for the cost.
