Are The Gen 4 Glocks Worth The Change?

The .40's have had increased chamber support since the late 90's/early 00's. It has nothing to do with the GEN4 alterations.

    AR's stacked like cord wood

    I've never seen a sub-$1k Colt, except the 6900, but that's not a "real" Colt. Wal-Mart LE6920's are $1,097.

    AR's stacked like cord wood

Colt's are never going to be any cheaper than they are right now at Wal-Mart. If you want one, you better get one while you can.

    IWB for Glock 19

The Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 is the Holy grail of IWB holsters for the Glock 19/23 and is a gift worthy of giving a Father. http://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/holsters-belt-gear/holsters/semi-auto-summer-special-2-prod9922.aspx

    40 s&w and panic buying

You are aware that standard 9x19 loads are 35,000psi and max loads for .40 are...35,000psi? 9mm+P is 38,500psi and 9mm+P+ can go up to 43,000+psi.

    40 s&w and panic buying

The .40 was introduced on January 17, 1990.

    40 s&w and panic buying

U.S. Army special forces use the Glock 22. The Coast Guard uses .40 as well, if you consider them a military force.

    40 s&w and panic buying

The .40 is only 23 years old, which is "brand new" in the gun world. Of course it will be less popular than the 111 year old 9mm.

    The ultimate pocket holster is...

The Blackhawk #3 at Wal-Mart is the best overall pocket holster that I've found for compact revolvers. $9.97 and made in Idaho makes it hard to beat. I use a Nemesis for my P3AT and LCP with great success as well though.

At what point does a handgun become "too heavy"?

25ozs. empty is my cutoff for a carry gun. For a range gun, I don't even consider its weight.
