    Caracal F & C: Pics

The designer of these is Wilhelm Bubits, a master pistol innovator who developed the Steyr series of hanguns and was working at Glock when a certain curtain rod manufacturer "designed" the Glock 17. Connect the dots, if you will...

FedEx or UPS only, ground. Not through the US Mail.

    Savage Model 14 American Classic

I own several of the Euro Classic models (discontinued by Savage), and they are amazing shooters. All of them shoot sub 1MOA easily.

    SHOT 2012 in a nutshell

Other than novelty, I don't see the .300 AAC Blackout having much success. It is designed to work reliably in a suppressed AR platform, but other than that doesn't offer anything than more established calibers. The Class III/NFA group is relatively small, and they will buy quite a few, but...

Paul Barrett’s: Glock, The Rise of America’s Gun

I am absolutely amazed at how many people are at odds with the subtitle, "The Rise of America's Gun" The author is not stating that this is an American gun, or that it is from America. It is "America's Gun". For example, the most popular cars sold in the US are the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord...

    Walther PPQ Nutnfancy YouTube review

Just wanted to say one more thing - do NOT compare Walther reliability to the Walther P-22. That gun is made by Umarex, and while it doesn't have a bad reputation it is NOT reflective at all of Walther quality.

    The Perfect Long Range Rifle

Zak, should have just left it at TRG. ;)

    The Perfect Long Range Rifle

I'd go with the gun on the far right in Zak's picture, the Sako TRG-22 This five shot group was shot out of a pretty much brand new (20 shots through it) Sako TRG-22. Note it is a five shot group, not three. Plus, the shooter has had no training whatsoever in shooting. It's the rifle...

    Walther PPQ Nutnfancy YouTube review

Walther has many police contracts in Germany, the Dutch Justice Department actually have come down to the HK P30 and the Walther P99. They are SOLID guns - great triggers, plastics, etc. I own 4.

    Steyr S9A1/M-A1 questions

I hate you Nordeste. I hate you. I hate you. I just picked up a new M9-A1 and a new S9-A1 from the store, as this thread piqued my interest. Remember when I said the newest Steyrs have the best triggers? WOW! Striker fired guns should not have a trigger this good. Heck, single action...

    Interested In An Arcus 9mm

Owned an Arcus 98DA for a bit - horrendous DA trigger, but sweet SA trigger. Accurate shooter, relatively well made for the price ($350). Parts may be a huge problem if something breaks - Century (importer) isn't known for their parts availability.

    Ruger LC9 versus Walther PPS

exiled, gotcha. My other point still stands - the Walther polymer pistols are extremely high quality, and I own 3 of them now. Never a hiccup/FTF/FTE etc.

    Ruger LC9 versus Walther PPS

You do realize the modern PPK is made by Smith & Wesson and not Walther, right? And that the modern Walther polymer pistols have about as much in common with a PPK, whether made by S&W or Walther, as Glock has to the 1911? Also, Warranty concerns are handled by S&W here in the US, and they...

    Steyr S9A1/M-A1 questions

Zundfolge, Correct. The easiest way to tell these 3 "generations" apart is the following: 1. Marked S9 on slide, may or may not have manual safety. Old style grip. 2. Marked S9-A1, new grip, no roll pin under rear sight 3. Marked S9-A1, new grip, roll pin under rear sight. Gen 1 had a...

    Steyr S9A1/M-A1 questions

It's interesting - the 10rd magazine for the S-A1 comes with an extended solid plastic base (that slides into the gun) that blocks the extra +2 rounds that might fit. I guess that dates back to the old 10rd magazine capacity ban, and they have never released a 12rd magazine that I know of. It...
