    Ruger SP101 3 inch Opinions

I've owned a 3 inch, 9mm SP-101 for years and still carry it pretty often. I usually belt carry in a Simply Rugged holster and just like most any other gun I carry it takes a while to get used to it. That little popper shoots so well that I'd keep it as my only carry revolver over the rest I...

    Closet storage of blued handguns

You may want to buy a pistol rack. It keeps them horizontal so air can circulate. Wipe them down good and check them a couple times a month for grins and giggles.

    .22 LR for small hands

Give a look at the S&W 422-622, they're no longer made but none of mine have ever had a hiccup. They are under barrel pistols with aluminum frames making them a great choice for youngsters. The barrel and actions are steel and holdup very well.

Anyone know where to find some subsonic 9mm for sale?

    Try Police supply houses/stores.

Smith & Wesson Model 61 Escort Barrel Nut Q?

I own a -3 and carry on milk runs. I'm thinking all had barrel nuts but not 100% sure. Your best off asking the adapter question at EWK. Mine had hiccups the first couple boxes but has been flawless ever since. At 5 yards I can eat the bullseye out of a target as fast as I can pull the trigger...

    S&W 642 cylinder question

Make sure to roll your ejector rod on a flat surface, it might be a bent rod.

    S&W 2213 2214 422 622 2206 Club

I've got a soft spot for them as well, in "73" I bought a S&W 61-3, the Grandfather of all the Smith under barrel .22's. Then (2)422's and (2) 622's and shoot all of them quite a bit. I've had the occasional FTF/FTE with them all but none were the pistols fault. I pocket carry the Escort for a...

    Anybody familiar with a H&R Trapper .22

I still own/shoot one. The front sight is a brass blade that is a 16th of an inch thick, sheet stock brass should work well for fashioning a sight. Be carefully removing the saw handle stocks as they tend to break on the top. I shot many a box of LR shells in it years ago but now limit it to...

    Quest for a 357

For the money I'd buy a Dan Wesson....mine shoots much better than I can...Dans were designed with many features that make them easy to shoot well. Once you get used to the short cycle action you'll be shooting like a pro. Good luck on your search and enjoy shooting your new purchase......:)

Is there any commerical 148/158 grain lead round nose 38. round to avoid

Some leading can be attributed to the bore of your gun as well. Having said that, if not driven at high velocity you are liable to get a little to no leading. Try a box of many different brands and keep notes.
