Pics of this season's hunting successes

My youngest son and I have had a great season in Oklahoma with our crossbows. Both of us scored our best bucks ever, and I culled a big OLD 7 point. 159.75" 186.25" cull 7 point

Sightmark Photon XT Night Vision ....... Two thumbs UP

My brother has a Photon, and I have a Pulsar N750. Optical quality-wise, the N750 is hands down better, but the Photon trumps it by being smaller and lighter. I don't plan to get rid of my N750, but I will more than likely add a Photon.

Not again.......! Feral Hog Control in East Texas

I'm a member of several "hunting" boards, and it appears that hunters either already hunt hogs or dream about getting an opportunity to hunt hogs. This thread gives those who dream about hunting hogs the ability to live vicariously through those of us who do hunt hogs.

    The One That Got Away

My "one that got away" was last year, but I remedied the situation this year.

Not again.......! Feral Hog Control in East Texas

I'm finding the pigs around my place to be much less consistent in their movements, and they are moving more in "upland" areas than in the creek bottom.:scrutiny:

    Black panther in Oklahoma?

I've actually seen two big cats in my 40 years of hunting. The first was definitely a "cougar" on a ranch between Dilley and Cotulla in south Texas, and the second was a darker pigmented big cat on a friend's mother in law's farm about 25 miles north of my house. We found some really dark...

    bird hunting and fancy magazines

I grew up in the '70's bird hunting in NW Oklahoma, and it was a far from "gentile". When we had a dog, it was my uncle's dumbass pointer that pointed halfway decent but wouldn't find a dead bird if his life depended on it, so I ended up hunting for the dead birds. My Dad had an old Remington...

    Rifle/Shotgun combo

I've had my BBF a few years now, and all I'll tell you is that a set of barrels today costs more than I paid for my gun.

    First buck on our farm

I have killed quite a few deer in the last 30 years, and the most special and memorable came off family land. Congratulations on a great buck!!!

    Not your best

I own a few high end Blaser rifles and have hunted with them, but my current "go to" rifle is a Winchester M70 featherweight in 270 win built in 1961. I traded for it a few years ago and replaced the original wood stock with a McMillan and topped it with a 20 year old Leupold VariX III 4.5-14...

    Trail Cameras

I absolutely love Trailcampro.com, and their recommendations have been very reliable. I have three cellular game cams that I use on my place in OK, and that's all I can afford of them. I wanted a couple "cheap" cameras for my place behind my house, and the guys at TCP.com recommended the...

Take a guess on this bucks score???

Wow! 142? From that picture, I'd have never guessed there was that much bone. I was going to say 125-130 max.
