    Magnum Research 1911?

I believe it is the one that CD was working on. I think the manufacturer told CD they were going to manufacture it for others and then CD broke off their deal as CD thought they had exclusivity. I think that is part of what caused CD to go belly up. I am not 100% sure though.

    Jericho 941 questions

I have never dealt with CD, but their rep for customer service was actually very respectable.

    Jericho 941 questions

I think calling the Jericho 941 a sub standard pistol is a bit unfair. I would agree accessory wise, parts availability, you are better of with a CZ or EAA. On the "baby eagle" replacement, I think its a Turkish pistol called an Akdal Ghost. Charles Daly had pictures of a very similar gun to...

Girlfriend can't work slide on semi-auto handgun.

Not to discourage the gf, but if she truly only cares about home defense, revolvers are arguably better anyway. Can even get 8 rounds .38 sp+/.357 mag if you wanted...sooner or later hopefully a company will put out a 9-10 rounds .327 federal....

Just how powerful *IS* the .460 S&W Magnum?

These cartridges really won't be interesting until someone makes a .460 S&W Maximum or a .500 S&W Maximum...I mean really...

    One revolver and one semi-auto

might be easier to tell us what you will own after you are done selling (and maybe what you are selling)... but if you don't want a polymer semi, you are got what, sig, cz/jericho/eaa, 1911/hipower, and beretta m9 (and derivatives)....of that list, under 1000, you kinda lose sig and for the...

    .357 magnum revolver recommendations?

To the 1911 crowd, not saying there is anything wrong with it but it sounds like he wants his wife to try the gun. The revolver has two significant advantages over a 1911 .45 for that purpose. For the revolver, you can easily change grips and make them significantly smaller for her if she has...

    Hi-Cap .357 Smith & Wessons

np. this video shows the reload in slow mo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srM2qghDFuI He is just throwing it in there. With the speed loader you have to manipulate something (different depending on brand/type). But that guy Jerry Miculek is special. Very few people can do what he...

    Hi-Cap .357 Smith & Wessons

A moon clip is a small circle with openings around the outside. For most moon clips it is beneficial to use a tool to get the cartridges in. There is something called half moon clips that you don't see anymore. In a 6 shooter, it was 3 and 3. Back in WWI soldiers got half moon clips for...

    Hi-Cap .357 Smith & Wessons

For those looking for 8-round speedloaders that are cheaper, try here: http://www.speedloaders.com/ I have never used one, so I am not recommending them. They do have some theoretical advantages. In addition to TR having speedloaders, I read that Bowen does as well. To Spartacus...
