Thinking about picking up a Savage in 243 Win. So for 243 owners I was wondering what is your go-to ammo for your 243 among current offerings for huntng? Or what reload recipes do you prefer

So increasing the seating depth and backing off on the charges got the primers and extraction better. Accuracy is OK. Good hunting rpund. No misses on 6" steel at 225 yds.

Accuracy wise Ruger M77 did not like 55gr. StaBall 6.5 and Sie 130 gr. 0020" off the lands. And the primers were a little flat. So it would need to back off by another grain at least.

thanks for the disclosure. If you want feedback on usa milspec equipment, just ask the taliban. Current admin gave them a decent enough sample size. We should be getting a field report for our trouble at least. We (you and me) paid for all that. Or china did. I am not sure.
