    357 max vs. 1911

Go for the Ruger. I am on constant watch for a Ruger in .357max and if I would have found what you found it would be in my hands before the ink on the form 4473 dried.

    357 Maximum Rounds are huge!

About 20 + years ago, I came across a used Savage Model 24V in .357 Max. over a 3" 20 gauge. It's not a revolver, but it's the only .357 Maximum I've ever fired. It makes a good woodsrunner gun. I reckon I'll keep it. Sounds like a good combination. I would like to find one like it.

    Ruger 357 maximum

If I found one 10 miles from me for that price I would have it at my house as soon as I could. That is a great price. I too am on a .357max kick (have a new barrel for the contender on its way) and would love to have one of these in my collection.

    Comanche .357 Magnum?

You misunderstood. I simply adjusted the sights after shooting a few rounds. Nothing was loose or broken. You are too quick on the trigger with your goblins comment. Have you never had to adjsut the sights on a gun that you purchased? If not you are very lucky man. I however believe that...

    Comanche .357 Magnum?

I have one that I bought just last Saturday so my time with it is limited. However, I did run thru 150 rounds of 38 and 100 rounds of 357 (American Eagle, pretty mild stuff). Other than having to readjust the sights, mine did well. I was able to keep head shot groups (on the man size targets)...

    Comanche .357 Magnum?

Well the one that I have is far from junk, it may not be as pretty as a Colt or as widely used as a Smith, but I am satisfied with it.

    Comanche .357 Magnum?

Well I am going to chime in here and give a different experence. I picked up a Llama Comanche .357 on Saturday for $100. At that price I felt comfortable give the gun a chance. It was in great condition but looked like it had be shot farily ofter and not cleaned regularlly. Took it to...

    9mm Rifle Questions

I have a camp 9 and a hipoint. Love the looks of the camp 9 but it was twice the cost of the hipoint and both shoot equally well.

    Neck shot or behind shoulder?

I too have made neck shots but I would much rather have a clean side on chest shot anyday. I am not going to pass on a neck or head shot if that is all I had. This year my dad passed on a head shot thinking the buck would continue on his path and step out for a body shot. Guess what, big...

    Search for 100% reliability...

Smith & Wesson Sigma 9ve Someone already mentioned this gun but I have to say it again because mine has had zero problems. I have owned this gun from new and fired atleast 800 rounds of everything from white box to wolf to speer gold dots. Let the gun snobs line up and tell me that this...

    heritage 22lr and mag

I have only had 1 problems with mine. I noticed that some of the screws started loosening up somewhere around 500 rounds. Not a big problem, just tightened them up and went on. I have no regrets in buying mine. In fact, I like it so much, I gave my dad one for Christmas. The Heritage...

Extra Gun While Hunting - .22 or 9mm

I have carried a 22 of some kind for years, either a Ruger MKII or a Single Six. I have used a 22 to finish off wounded deer 2 times.

Can I make a better pistol out of my Hi-Point 9mm?

My Hipoint shoots Speer Gold Dots and Adcom (United Arab Imirates manufacture) ammo best. Did not shoot the Winchester very well.

    Hi-Point Better than You think

I have a hi-point. It is fun to shoot holes in paper targets and milk jugs with. It fires everytime and the bullets fired from it hit what I aim at. Why does it have to be amy more complicated than that? I also drive a Chevy truck its a little beat up, but I like it and it serves it...
