So say they pass a ban on assault weapons. Down the road if I need a new bolt or a barrel etc would it still be illegal to obtain those parts?
I'm hoping it doesn't come to that but I was planning on building my brother a AR for college graduation so couldn't decide if I should order some...
I've owned a taurus and Smith and Wesson 1911. Both were good shooting guns but the Smith was a major step above in quality and a absolute tack driver.
Whatever you do get the one you want the first time around. I learned that lesson the hard way. I paid less then 1k for both of them and...
Has she shot a 1911 in both 9mm and 45? I won both and my fiance hates the 9mm but loves the 45.....go figure. That said the only 9mm 1911 I've had experience with is the taurus and that's not what you want for ccw down the road.
The Taurus really can shoot but like mentioned earlier its hit or miss and if its a miss you get to send it back to brazil.
My Taurus shot low for about 400-500 rounds and once it was broken in it was a good shooter. Nothing like my SW1911 but def a good shooter.
Match grade barrel and...
hah yeah, my phone doesn't have macro mode but I figured I'd put it up anyway since it wasn't blocking the gun.
On another note I took it shooting at the range today and she wanted to shoot it (she has a SR9c). She fell in love with it and told me she would gladly accept the gun as a wedding...
practice practice practice. The more you shoot the better. Your most likely jerking because your prob anticipating the recoil. As for the shakes I just try and breath evenly. When I was first getting into handguns my biggest prob was anticipating the recoil (I started with a 357 mag)...
I just picked up a older smith 108284 unfired for under 1k and at 15 yards it was dead on. Trigger is fantastic and slide to frame fit it nice and tight. Only issue I can find is the safety issue that others have mentioned with SW 1911's that its slightly mushy and not a positive click. From...
Got to shoot it yesterday. It's now the best shooting gun I own. Trigger is smooth at just under 4lbs. I'm so pleased with it. I started out at 15 yards and it's dead on.
Test fire date was 4/19/2007 in Springfield Ma.
I stopped into a local shop looking for a .22 for my fiance and they didn't have anything that she wanted but I didn't leave empty handed. I'm going back friday to pick it up. its a S&W 1911.
Looked at the Tikka? I was searching for a 30-06 a few months back and finally settled on a tikka t3 lite stainless with a synthetic stock.
The gun has a crisp trigger and very smooth bolt and very accurate. It's also light and since its stainless I'm not worried about it when hunting in...
