The NRA sends mailings almost once a week. The GOA maybe once a month. I was told the reason you wait for your membership package is they send them out all at the same time to save money. The GOA sends out a newsletter printed on cheap stock, again to save money.

jsalcedo, I agree. This is something that I could never understand. They always had a "why fight it " way of thinking. The range was always a mess. Most of the target machines didn't work. Just seemed like a company trying to go out of business.

RNS Interesting. I have never thought about it before. Growing up, my parents never said a word about guns. We all had toy guns and my brother two shotguns hanging on the wall, so I guese my parents didn't care.

What don't I like? My wife. She has no interest in guns at all. She is my best friend in every way but when it comes to guns... Not really anti, just no interest. Just once I would like to hear "Can I go with you to the range?" That woukd make my day.
