I picked up the twenty inch version in 357 a couple of months ago and love it. I went into it thinking I would have to tinker with it for it to run right. I was wrong. Nothing had to be done. I think they are paying attention at Taurus.

FTE is for sure the wire adjustment for the ejector. There is an adjustment you make to the wire that you'll find out how to do over at rimfire central in the Marlin section. There are several stickys on how to keep these great little rifles running right.

I use a Galco stinger every day for my LC9 lasermax and one for my LCP. Both are invisible under a t-shirt and you can draw sitting down. Pocket carried them before I got the holsters and hated it.

This thing has survived 130 years, I would have a hard time hacking it up. Right now it's a conversation piece, a part of history. Someday I'll take it apart to see what's wrong with it, if I can find a barrel I'll load up some Goex and shoot it. Thanks everyone for your replies!
