were the trigger comes threw the lower may need opened up a little.the trigger might be rubbing and not letting it reset.i have read others have had the same problem and that fixed it.

Did not weigh the the first one.should of This one with the bayonet and full mag is about 9.5.I don't keep the bayonet on it.Its just a something to have thing.About 8.5 with out the bayonet

I cant say.Never shot it the other way.but compared to my other ones I can say it shoots softer with the vltor buffer spring and tube.And the aimpoint sure does help as does the front hand grip
