    Weatherby Orion Sport??

If you are talking about the current Orion sporting, I own one, and like it. SKB hasn't made Weatherby shotguns for over a decade however. The current Orion's are made in Turkey. I would say they are equal to the higher end CZ over/unders, and miles above the cheaper Turkish o/u's. I also...

My TTAG article on the PT92.

Great article. I have a 1992 PT-99 with nickel finish. It is my favorite range pistol.

Best Way To Buy an M-1 Carbine?

Whatever you have to pay for one now will seem like a bargain in five years. I bought a National Postal Meter several years ago for $700, and people thought that was crazy. I could easily double that if I sold it today.

What happened to polymer AR-15 style shotguns like the Akdal MKA-1919?

They were all made in Turkey, probably in the same factory. Importers come and go, and names change. FWIW they are basically a traditional auto shotgun mechanically, with a detachable mag and a shroud made to look like an AR.

8mm ejercito ecuatoriano ammo corrosive or not?

Yes, corrosive. As mentioned above, just clean thoroughly with hot water after shooting.

    8mm mauser questions

I've had good luck with the Hornady 150 gr sp over Varget. As far as forming cases, you can just run 30-06 through your sizing die and trim, but you might need to turn the necks depending on how tight your chamber is. I would load a dummy and try to chamber it before loading a bunch.

Old 39A - would like a peep sight

. Yes, some early to mid 50's 39a's came with the barrel drilled and tapped, and a factory installed Weaver B4. Most of them were sold exclusively through Sears.

Old 39A - would like a peep sight

That barrel could have been drilled and tapped at the factory, there were some built that way. Four 6-48 plug screws would be correct. Your rifle is also drilled and tapped for a receiver peep sight. I think the Lyman 66LA would be the one you need.

Thoughts on the Sears model 54 lever?

It is mechanically identical to a post-64 model 94 Winchester. The difference is in the furniture. Birch instead of walnut, and a sheet metal cap on the forearm instead of a barrel band. $400 is a good price in today's market.

    BL-C2 in 7.62x54R HIGH PRESSURE

The .303 SMLE action is nowhere near as strong as the Mosin Nagant. The Arisaka is in general, but most loading manuals are very conservative on the 7.7 due to the "last ditch" rifles of uncertain metallurgy. Factory 7.62x54 falls between .308 and .30-06 ballistics, quite a bit of a step up...

    loads for vintage model 12

"Rifled" foster slugs are totally safe in your model 12. You might be surprised at the accuracy through the full choke. The majority of shotguns made before screw in choke tubes became common were full choke, and piles of deer were killed by them every fall.

    Browning Automatic .22

Here's my 1960 Belgian SA-22 with factory Browning scope and hard case. Beautiful little gun. I do shoot it on occasion but don't take it in the woods anymore.

    Stubborn Mossberg 590 Magazine Tube

A propane torch is what you are going to need to get the mag tube off. It is secured with thread locker. Heat the bottom of the receiver where the tube goes through until you start to see bubbling at the joint, then unscrew with your strap wrench.

    Ammo Inc or Armscor 9mm?

Armscor is good ammo for general shooting. Seems more consistent than others at that price point. I can't say I've heard of Ammo inc.

    Checking an old Winchester 94

You can buy go/no go headspace gauges online pretty cheap. You can clearly see the locking surfaces on the bolt, locking block, and receiver from outside the gun. If everything checks out I'd shoot it.
