    Which of your .22LR rifles.....

Today, it would be my Marlin 60. Never had a problem, and it is more accurate than I am. If I had my dad's 39A, that would be definitely my first choice, but I wouldn't give up the 60!

    9mm handgun or 22 rifle?

I vote for the .22. ANYBODY can shoot it accurately, and it makes an awesome survival rifle. Small game doesn't stand a chance!

How Many Dirty Guns Are Sitting Around Your House?

I just walked through the house counting. The total count is...zero!

Bucket List of Guns you would like to shoot.

I'd have to go with the Ma Deuce, a .45 Thompson SMG and a .50 Barrett. Oh yeah...those 16 inch guns on the Iowa would be AWESOME too!

    Five that you Won't Buy

This has been mentioned several times in one form or another. I'm just curious (so don't crucify me!) - why do so many people hate guns with "the lock" so much? Is it completely a "principle of the thing" deal? Other than people (myself included) not wanting extra "safety" features on their...

    Amen...I vote no deal!

What is once fired 357 brass worth?

I agree with you, Flash. I will be happy to help safely dispose of this nasty stuff if there is more than you can handle! :D

    Indiana residents...

I was born in West Lafayette, have relatives there, in LaPorte, Indianapolis, and Charlestown (across the river from Louisville). Does that count?

    most trusted handgun

Top choice would be my S&W 686+ with 7 rounds of .357 Magnum. I would not hesitate to trust my Makarov in any situation - the 686 just has some more power! ;)

Do any of you experienced shooters have time for .22's?

Hey Loop - I'm glad you found a caliber that you like, and can afford to shoot a lot. I think I probably speak for the majority of people here when I say that I certainly can't afford to go through 1000 rounds of .45 ACP a week with any kind of regularity. Even if you reload, you'll spend a...

Gun-rights ruling could ricochet across nation (Chicago Tribune)

WHAT????:banghead: Does that mean that all of the rest of them are irrelevant at the state level too?:fire:

One of my kids got killed this week.

A true tragedy, and one that happens far too often in our society. My condolences are with you and this fine young man's families. My wife is a teacher, and I understand how your students become "your kids"...they are truly a part of you, and will be missed nearly as much as if they were your...

    Favorite Type Of Shotgun

I'm no expert on shotguns (by a long shot), but doesn't it kind of depend on what the intended use is? I mean, what is the perfect home defense gun may not be the best rabbit/quail/goose/deer/whatever gun, right? But a gun that borders on useless for home defense may be perfect for Canadian...
