    Digital Powder Scales?

I'll echo the same good remarks for Dillon. I've never had a problem with their scale. It's fast and accurate I won't go back to a balance beam any time soon. Spend the money and your done with it.

    Anyone polish a 625?

My point is other than spending time putting rounds thru the 625, polishing time would be better spent reloading or dry fire practicing, LOL. Heaven forbid I sound like a bride, LOL!

    Anyone polish a 625?

fedlaw sounds to me like you have too much free time on your hands. Spend more time at the range with that 625. 1000 rounds is about 3 practice days for me. Mine is a IDPA gun so all I do is shoot it, shoot it some more then clean it. I have seen anothers results he posted somewhere using...

    Bent moonclips?

Morgan, I agree for personal defense I'd also go with steel. Personal defense I'd grab the 1911, spare mag and flashlight myself. I didn't think the original poster was thinking of self defense but you raise a good point. My suggestion was for IDPA events. The advantage of not having to use...

    Bent moonclips?

Yep a bent steel moonclip could make your 625 a nice paper weight. Heck for that matter in some revolvers a high primer can just about do the same thing. Simple solution is don't use a steel moon clip but rather the RIMZ. It's virtually indestructible. Check out the information here...

Were to look for S&W 625 info?

Maybe you can share with me what you feel needs to be done with a stock 625. Out of the box is the trigger pretty good? You can reply here/email thu the site or PM if you don't want to post here. Thanks.

Were to look for S&W 625 info?

99% sure I'll have to get a new one so Theo will get the order. I'd love to find a PPT locally however (me & a thousand other shooters). Their list wasn't updated because Joslin said the 4" wasn't approved in CA. I may need to bring them a current print out fron DOJ. I'll see you at Prado.

LOL, short and to the point. I'll look for you at OPL IDPA or Prado. I'll be at the Mystery Match Thursday in Oceanside.

Scott, Are you the shooter at Oceanside IDPA using the 625? If so I'd like to meet you. Aren't you the inventor of the RIMZ as well?

Were to look for S&W 625 info?

Okay guys I've read most the info on the 625 here and am wondering if you can suggest any websites that will give me more info on it. Basically I've narrowed it to a 4" S&W625 .45ACP for IDPA. For many handguns I've been a fan of the 1970-80 vintage and was wondering if the new was as good as...
