    Beretta/Cougar Kydex Holster

I did buy the holster for rare occasion that I will open carry, since we just got Open Carry here in Oklahoma back in November. And of course it keeps the gun a lot more secure than the little nylon holster I had. But it is still a good nylon holster. Yeah, the normal Serpa's do cost a bit more...

    Beretta/Cougar Kydex Holster

JTQ, I'm not entirely sure. I just looked up the specs of the PX4. And they were pretty close, but I believe the P229 was closer in all the measurements. I spent a lot of time comparing measurements and sizes to find a gun that was really close to the Cougar. And yeah, I have heard of and read...

    Beretta/Cougar Kydex Holster

Alright. Anyone interested in a Kydex holster, especially a level II retention, for their cougar. You can modify one will a little heat and time. I just got done modifying a Blackhawk holster made for a Sig 220/225/226 ( I think the one for the 229 would have been better since it appears that...

    Beretta/Cougar Kydex Holster

Thanks JTQ. I stopped by cheaper than dirt today, they didn't have a kydex holster for the P229, but they had one that fit the 220/225/and 226. I went ahead and bought it because it was the closest fit. But it still didn't click into place. I'm currently tryin out heating the kydex up to...

    Beretta/Cougar Kydex Holster

Hello all, I've been searching for several months now and have had no luck finding a kydex holster for my Stoeger Cougar. I have noticed that there have been threads that talked about all the different guns that some of the kydex holsters will fit, even if the manufacturer doesn't specify...

    Rail-light system for Beretta Cougar?

Not sure if you're still lookin or not, but I came across something that you might be interested in checking out, yesterday. (Yeah, i realize it's an old thread). I was also lookin for a retention holster for my Cougar, but it's not goin so well. :/... Anyways, rail mount wise, this is all I've...

    Smith and Wesson Model 39

I have a Smith and Wesson Model 39. From the research I've done, I believe it's a 3rd generation since it only has 4 numbers above the model number. However, every place I've found that helps identify what the numbers are, it doesn't have what numbers my model has. I was wondering if anyone...

    S&W model 10

yeah, I agree it really does need the wooden grip, but that grip is what it came with. I took it out and shot it the other day and it shoots great, I'm not use to shooting a handgun yet, so my aim was a little off, but after a while I was gettin closer.... With a little more practice I'm sure...

    S&W model 10

It is a single/double action. The hammer does cock back pretty smoothly, and the trigger moves smoothly. And the cylinder does lock very good when the hammer is cocked.. So judging by what you all have said, I did get a pretty good gun for an excellent price. :) best $205 I've spent in...

    S&W model 10

Awesome, thanks for your help. I knew, from other research, that it had to have been made before 1952, but now it has added even more interest knowing it was made in the early to mid 1930's... thanks to everyone. I'm gonna keep trying to do some research on it and see what else i can learn...

    S&W model 10

And I'm assuming the the serial number is 408XXX That is the only number I have found so far, and it is located on the bottom of the barrel, behind the cylinder pin.
