Does anyone know if the Tactical is offered in .38 Super?

.38 Super/9x23 conversion? Resurrecting this thread for the above question. Do you think these pistols (4" or 5") are suitable for barrel swap conversion to .38 Super/9x23? I have .45 1911s (Para P13 and STI Trojan). I love them. Just intrigued by this idea. I've been thinking about this...

Do current Colt Supers use a ramped or unramped barrel? I assume they are unramped, but I'm curious as I'd like a Lightweight Commander to run 9x19 and 9x23 through, and I'd rather start with a cut frame for a fully supported 9x23 barrel.

I have no input except to say I would very much like to hear the results of this discussion as well. I have a 590 w/Speedfeed which is too long for my relatively short arms, and a similar recoil aversion. SADShooter

John: I can't speak to the K-frame question, but I have been very pleased with a Kramer Belt Scabbard I bough used for a Colt Pocket 9. (For which, incidentally, you sold me some magazines a few years ago...) I think a similar holster would be an excellent choice for your revolver, assuming...
