9mm Blazer and FC brass -- poor neck tension and set-backs .

I am crimping. The bell is gone. I need neck tension, not a crimp. The crimp does not replace neck tension. All final rounds end up very near .378" at the case mouth regardless of brass. --------------------- To answer some of the above questions. No PTX Precision Delta Bullets. They...

9mm Blazer and FC brass -- poor neck tension and set-backs .

I'll get to more measurements tomorrow. It's best I quit for tonight. :banghead: ------------------------- I just replaced my expander die with a new RCBS that measures .352". I set it to give just the lightest bell. Same thing. I went on to check the Hornady seater/crimp die before I...

9mm Blazer and FC brass -- poor neck tension and set-backs .

Is it me or the brass. As of late I have notice that Blazer (about 80%) and FC (about 50%) brass will keep way to little neck tension. I put all of my reloaded ammo in 50 or 100 round boxes nose down. I check the primers and push down on each round for set-backs. Blazer and FC fail that...

    H&K P30-9mm vs. Glock 19-9mm

    Now that is well said.

    H&K P30-9mm vs. Glock 19-9mm

An LEM equipped HK has the same trigger pull each time. There is no DA pull on LEM equipped HKs.

    H&K P30-9mm vs. Glock 19-9mm

I see that point getting recycled a lot when HK is the topic, but $300 is nothing, zero, squat. Overtime, actual shooters will put that amount of money through the gun in less than 2 thousand rounds. I have spent roughly 3 times the gun's price feeding it so far. And by the end of its life the...

    H&K P30-9mm vs. Glock 19-9mm

A LEM P30 with light FPBS & HS springs, and heavy TRS (trigger return spring), i.e., the Todd Green Trigger, is the finest 9mm on the market today. That set up gives a trigger pull of ~5 lb and perfect feedback on the "long" lake up of the LEM. The reset on the trigger is longer than other HK...

    Red Jacket

On other sites the Nancy Drews are acting like this is some kind of super-mystery, conspiracy theory that's solved. Oh great and high drama, editors screwed up, they missed a shot, a mistake was made, let us all run hysterically around the maypole.

    Value of a mint P7M8?

I looked for a M8 for quite a while last year 'till I found one. The range on M8's was about $1200-$1600+. The LE trade-in P7 PSP's (the vast majority are actually not marked "PSP", only "HK P7" as in BigBore's photos) were selling at Top Gun Supply. They had grade B PSP's for $499. That was...

Anyone know of an aftermarket trigger option for HK USP's?

Mr. Gray is one very classy, very gifted gunsmith. He makes no bones that he has a great crew and gives them all the credit they deserve. It speaks volumes of his character.

Anyone know of an aftermarket trigger option for HK USP's?

If you are very serious, send it to Bruce Gray. I have a DA/SA P30 that has been to his altar. You will not find better work done on HK's. The reset on that particular pistol measures in the low millimeters. And he turns that hideous frog double action pull into a princess. Or you could...

Don't let 'em ruin the P30 long slide.

The team is using one each LEM and DA/SA, both with light hammer springs. Let us hope that the horrid safety version was indeed a limited to a run of 500 and we will eventually get the pistol as originally conceived in the non-long-slide.

Don't let 'em ruin the P30 long slide.

For those who do not know: There's a spastic, grass roots movement affront to keep putting safeties on LEM equipped HK P30L's (long slides). HK imported about 500 of these abominations on "accident" and now indoor range gods who want to play 1911 are clamoring for more. They are a vocal bunch...
