    New to me gun/caliber

I haven't loaded .40 in a long time. When I did it was when I first got into USPSA. All the people I shot with convinced me to get an undersized sizing die to help with any bulged brass issues. Once I did that, I had zero issues with rounds chambering. I used the EGW undersize die. Cheap and...

    New to 6.5 Creedmoor

I settled in on H4350 with a CCI small magnum primer and Lapua brass. 140gr Hornady ELDM Somewhere in the vicinity of 41.5gr Shoots bug hole groups in my RPR

    BE-86

I've found with the Speer Gold Dot and the Sierra V-Crown 124gr bullets, 5.6gr, both at 1.125" oal, was a sweet spot for me. 1185fps avg out of a Glock 17. That OAL was also good in my Sig P365. With the RMR Nuke 124gr bullets, I found they needed to be a much shorter OAL. I seem to remember...

    BE-86

BE86 is a fav of mine for loading up full power 9mm loads. I use it for speer 124gr gold dots and 124gr sierra V-Crowns. Burns clean and consistent at the Chrono.

    Servisios and Adventuras Primer Observations.

I just shot another 50 today. All went bang. In my Glock 17...which is nice considering I just reduced the striker spring from the factory weight of 5.5lbs down to a 5lbs spring. My overall sample size is small, as I have only fired a total of 150, but 100% so far.

    Servicios y Aventuras Primer Poll

My sample size is small, but I have gone through 100 of these so far with a 100% success rate. I gave the primers a little extra oomph when seating. Fired in a Glock 17 gen 3.

    Power Pistol Alternatives

That's a good price these days. I would grab some if I didn't already had a nice stash on hand.

    Power Pistol Alternatives

+2 on BE86. It has been my go to powder for quite some time now. I bought some when it first came out and haven't looked back. I mostly use it for medium to high power loads, but it does seem to burn clean for light target loads as well. Fills the case nicely too.

    Cleaning Nickel Cases

I just recently did a few loads of nickel 9mm in my FA wet tumbler. I usually dry tumble it. I used one of the FA cleaner pods like mentioned above. I also added about a 45 case worth of lemishine. Worth noting, I'm using SS chips instead of pins. It came out good. Be sure you are using hot...

    .223 Brass Choices

Out of the headstamps you mentioned, I would choose PMC. It has always been very consistent for me.

    223 reloading frustration

The DIY lube is the best I have ever used. I swear by it now. I started making it back in 2012 and have played with the ratios a bit. I have found a 1:10 to 1:12 ratio to work great for .223 I am still working from the bottle I bought back in 2012 and have done about 12,000 .223 cases with it...

Load check for Hornady (224 Diam) 55 Grain FMJ BT bullets

25gr is my go to load for ARs. 22.5gr H335 is my 3gun load and is extremely accurate.....BUT, my rifle is tuned for the load. It shoots great in several other ARs ranging from 8.5" barrel up to 18". I did try some in a brand new build a couple weeks ago. It is a 14.5" mid length gas with a...

What variable to change next, or is this about right considering the equipment?

If you have a little wiggle room in the load data, you may wanna slightly up the charge with 3031. My buddy loads some great shooting rounds with it and 55gr bullets. DOn't hold me to it, but I believe his load was in the mid 24gr range. Also, find the smallest sized target you can comfortably...

have a laugh on me. 223 loading, personal faux pas.

Make it easy on yourself and start with the 68gr Hornady and 8208. Start low and work up. Don't be surprised if you hit a sweet spot around 23.1gr. 2.245-2.250 oal. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
