    338 Edge Savage 110 Action

mnhntr, Thanks for the info. Does the shank size for my older 110cl (lefty) preclude my 338 Edge build?

    338 Edge Savage 110 Action

I have an older Savage 110 action and am considering a 338 Edge build. Is the action capable of being used for an Edge project rifle? Thanks for any input.

    7.62x39 expander ball issue

Ran brass through with .310 ball expander and am reloading .308 sierras. How can I get the necks back to .308? Will the seating die tighten things to appropriate tension?

    22lr autopsy report please help

Steve Marshall, the OP is in centimeters and I calculated the wounds to inches as most Americans don't usually think visually in terms of centimeters. No "test" Steve Marshall, just trying to figure something out in the only forum that remains anonymous where people are gun guys. Yes, there...

    22lr autopsy report please help

The emergency tech. said the guy had a phone in his hand and they had to pry it out of his hand. That makes no sense either. Rigor mortis sets in with 10-15 minutes? The forensic guys said there is simply no way for a 22 to do that type of damage but they are academics and I'm suspect of...

    22lr autopsy report please help

Yes I trust cops as I help elect LO candidates. The problem here is particular individuals not the badge. The reports conflict, the victim was pronounced dead in one county and the sheriff took the body and flew it to another jurisdiction and he was pronounced dead again. The autopsy never...

    22lr autopsy report please help

I don't know why it is a dangerous thing either but since dope was involved and no forensics people agree that the damage was a 22 I want to run it by gun guys.

    22lr autopsy report please help

I was given an autopsy report that an alleged suicide was committed with a Marlin rifle. The autopsy states entrance wound is .51 inches and the exit is .60. I don't consider this consistent with a 22lr. Can you guys help me figure this out? The report states that law enforcement was...

    Kel-Tec 223 CA SU 16

Have had ARs and Minis for twenty-plus years and enjoy both. Read lots of mixed reviews about the Kel-Tecs. Thought I'd play around with my own tests. Snowed last week and we had some mud mixed in with the wet snow. Started the test with placing the rifle into a muddy mess. Mudd was a...

    Active Shooter Training for civilians

Some poor guy asks a question in search of an opinion and gets blasted. I thought we were all trying to embrace training and additional information. Call and wait for the professionals? Hmmm...big tough guys wanting the average common man to stand down while they play heroes. What if the guy...

Beware the man with one gun

The saying refers to a rifle, perhaps? Back in the day the common man owned a single rifle or shotgun. He could shoot, reload and shoot again and hit the intended target. I know a guy who shoots the same load out of the same rifle year round. Varmints, rabbit, you name it. He just does not...

Thanks for the information. I may grab a box of the plinkers and see how they hold to 250-300 yards.

    125 TNT 30-30 Loading

Does anyone have experience with Speer 125 TNT loads? Sub 125 Sierra HP data mins? I want a load to hit rabbits and coyotes to 300 yards with Marlin, a two shooter is all I need so the pointed bullet magazine stack is not an issue. Thanks for any advice or experience.
