Midway has some great reviews for both the the 125 NBT and NAB its a pretty good source for hunting bullet performance.

I would give it to a gunsmith for re barreling. There are so many 700 ADL out there that getting a decent price is rare. A 24" 6.5X55 would be pretty sweet.
Good luck in any case

I hunt rabbits with a good friend and he runs a pack of 5 some short legged beagles and beagle jack russell mix dogs. Been hunting them for a long time the 2 mixed dogs are amazing. My friend boasts they could find rabbits in the Walmart parking lot.

I also have never met a Sako I did not like and that Bavarian Carbine is one beautiful firearm. I have 2 85's and a 75 all shoot great and put together really well. The 20" barrel handicaps the 260 though.

Which barrel length are you considering for your AR build. If you are going with a 24" I would take the 260 hands down. The 20" bbl will cripple the 260 and the 257 Roberts likes a 22" bbl.
The 260 in 1 in 8 or 1 in 9 twist and 24" will make a great medium to long range firearm. It will be on...
I would imagine this is the time of year when coyotes are mating. I know foxes are mating and there cant be much difference. They've been known to mate with dogs and wolves for that matter otherwise we would never see the 70 pound coyotes I have seen in Canada.
I don't know if they would eat...
My accumark likes the 130 NAB with 60 gr of N560 and 210m it also like the same bullet with 56 gr of H4831 had good accuracy at about 2900 the N560 load is over 3100.
Good luck and shoot straight

I have a Zeiss Conquest on my 527 it looks good. That 3-9x40 is a real good scope for the money. If I had it here I would attach an image the rifle is at the camp.
I have not been that impressed with the Nikon's as well

All the summit climbers are listed at 350 pounds. They are very comfortable for long sits and with the optional rifle rest you can shoot to 300 pretty well. The Titan is the biggest from memory. Doesn't give you much room for equipment though.
Good luck and shoot straight

The 300 WSM is a wonderfully accurate firearm. I would disagree with the statement that recoil is similar to 30-06 levels. I fired the 300 wsm from an ultralight firearm and found recoil levels to be on the verge of offensive from a 7 pound firearm. It has 5 to 10 grains more case capacity than...
I hunt out of a summit goliath now and have for about 5 years. It is the best stand I have hunted from... Get the rifle rest attachment and you will be ready to shoot to 300 quite well. I hunted from a loggy bayou and a gorrilla climber I still hunt from the gorrilla but the summit is my go to...
I used to shoot in 200 yard NRA matches in MA over 20 years ago at Old Colony in Duxbury and there were plenty of 22lr shooters that held their own with Win 52's and Anschuts.
That little rifle is capable of exceptional accuracy at 100 yds
