A friend of mine is in gunsmith school. he has to re-barrel, glass bed two rifles for his next semester project. He is going to get two new .308 barrels,re-profile them to match the factory Arisaka barrels install them relieve and glass bed the military guns original stock.
These are both low...
Aware of some of the problems with the design as well as the company making it. Still have requested and been trying to get one in my hands for over a year. I want to see if I can fix the issues and improve the gun to the point of being a good shooter. Only reason is I shoot better with a more...
I used an armson OEG in another life time. The first gun I saw one on and used was a Sterling. They were also the first issued "red dot" sights in the USA for the Son Tay Raid. An updated model is still being made and can be purchased on the net.
Cheers,

Very lucky. A month ago a client came in to pick up the rifle I built for him. Wish I had the pictures to post he showed. One of his shooting buddies used reloaded ammo from one of his friends and now has 3 fingers and 2/3 of his hand left. I am trying to get the pictures of the gun and hand...
Someone else that understands why I have held on to mine. I really would prefer a 3" barrel but the grip fits my hand better than any other factory gripped gun I own.
Still on the fence about getting it converted to .50GI for the best American "Bulldog".
Look at I.M.A. They do replica military items that are good quality. Any knife you find other than that will be a cheap import or higher end custom. The other place I hate to mention is ebay.

I have talked to these people and handled the pistol. The market is for people that are not gun people but want a house gun. Simple to use and multiple shot, in a controllable effective caliber. It fulfils a true need in the market. Just because we like firearms and most of us can handle the...
I've been shooting a Coonan model B for over 20 years and have had no problems with it. I use full power loads and have changed the recoil spring 4 times. It is my travel pistol in the truck. I have shot the new ones and they seem to be just as good.
Not a "gun snob" just someone that has shot for over 49 years and a working gunsmith. Taurus is not a gun to bet your life on. At this time they also have the worst customer service.
They have made a few OK guns, the 92 with Beretta machinery comes to mind. Now that they have finished their...
:what:Iggy, where did you get the DNA to clone Ace?
That was the name of my partner when I was a teen and we raised horses. The blanket even has the wheat showing the old blood line.
Great pair. If there is anything I am addicted to more than a 1911 it's a HP. I am also addicted to cons. serial # guns. Due to constricted finances at this time I have been unable to participate in the import of these pistols.
Glad you were able and remember 1 is none 2 is one.;)...
Not to hijack the thread, but talked to them at the NRA con. about them buying Rhourbough. When I asked about the gun they were going to produce only in .380 he told me there were design flaws that Remington was working on correcting. I have two of these in 9mm and have over 700 rds through one...
