Show off your new or old target pistol.

I'd love to have a Colt Woodsman or a Smith & Wesson Mod. 41, but all I have right now is a lowly Browning Buckmark Camper. This is easily the most pedestrian pistol featured in this thread, but it is superbly accurate, with common fodder.

    Glock IWB holster

    I've been using this:

So, I've been playing around with some Kydex. Part II

From one Kydexbender to another, that is some nice clean looking stuff.

    Which Wilderness belt?

I like the 1.5" Instructor, either 5-stitch or CSM. CSM is (I think) $5 more expensive, and about $5 more rigid.

    Kydex, Nylon, and Leather

For holsters, while I was once a staunch leather snob, I now lean decidedly toward Kydex, and have learned how to make a Kydex IWB as comfortable as a leather one. For belts, I like the synthetic web belts, like Wilderness, Ares, Jones Tactical, etc.

    under 650.00

For carry, I prefer semi-auto, but I can't think of a sweeter revolver than the Smith & Wesson Mod. 66 in .357 Magnum. You should be able to find a really nice used example for well under your stated budget.

Dumb question, why do I want a faster bullet?

That's not exactly right. .45ACP is slower than a 9mm Para, mostly because the powder charge is insufficient to push the great mass of the .45ACP at 9mm Para speeds. It doesn't have a lot to do with aerodynamics. For example, a .50BMG slug is wider, and MUCH faster, than either the 9mm Para...

Dumb question, why do I want a faster bullet?

The ft/lbs formula for measuring kinetic energy is heavily slanted toward velocity. It's a good way to compare loads, but the load that generates more ft/lbs of kinetic energy may not always exhibit the greater terminal effect. You have to look deeper into it than the muzzle velocity and...

    What's Your Favorite Gun Finish?

Of those listed... The one I like the best - Parkerized. The one I think performs the best - Tenifer. (It's T-E-N-I-F-E-R, with one "N," not like Jennifer, which has two "N's."

How can thIs be (holster question)?

The biggest thing that I don't like about slide type holsters is that the muzzle end of the pistol is left uncovered. Not only can the muzzle end get banged up on stuff, but, when you sit down, the gun can get pushed up out of the holster.

    Mag Pouch Holster?

I could see doing something like this, if it were for a pistol, for which there were no available holsters. Sounds like a terrible idea, when there are a lot of actual holsters available for G26. Since it appears that you don't have a mag pouch in hand already, that you intend to use in this...

MC Op is a helluva gun, in stock config. Congratulations on making that one your own, and sweetening up an already fine piece.

    Secret City Weaponeers K-25 Holsters

I've been a member here for a few years, but have been pretty busy for most of that time, so many fellow members likely will not recognize me. Therefore, I'll make, now, my own brief self-introduction. My name is Anthony S. Taylor. I've been working in the firearms industry for a few years...
