I'd have to agree on the trigger. It's not bad but nothing extraordinary. I'm having mine worked on by a gunsmith that specializes in 1911s. Trigger job on a 1911 is a little more than I want to do at home.

I don't know if I would expect a target pistol to preform with a wide variety of ammo. I spend quite a lot of time working up loads for my rifles and pistols. I don't expect my target guns to work with anything cheap. I wouldn't want to run cheap ammo threw them anyway. Especially with rifles...

It's an 1892 berthier Model M16 AKA 1892/M16. So it's a 92 berthier with the 1916 modifications and it was produced in the early 1920's. So it's nearing 100 years old.

Well if you're not a fan of French rifles I wouldn't mind buying those off of you. Especially that 1886 bot the 1907 is on my list. If the bores are good I would definitely give you a fair price.
