This seemed to work for me as well with Extreme RN seated to 1.135".
I'm going to try upping the charge to 4.0 to see what groups can be had. Started at 3.6 grns, but wouldn't cycle reliaby till I got above 3.8

I have always started at or near the bottom because their intended use- informal IDPA shoot and plinkin on the weekends. I can't wait to get this thing up to par with my ability, haha. So far 4" low at 10 yrds, and a 4"+ spread.

I picked up a pound of HP-38 this afternoon. I hope the weather is good enough to try some out. I'm looking to start of at the lower end of the scale and work up from there for my SA Range officer Champion.
I have had prety good accuracy in XD 40 with Accurate #5...
Have you taken it apart and look to see if they have to much clearence?Never had a problem with using AA#5 in mine.Its all I load for my XD40.Do you have the adjustable charge bar?
I have used cerasafe from midway,cast into the bore at less than 200 degrees.Wait 5 minutes and lightly tap out.wood dowels tend to splinter and may jamb in the bore.I have used lead before but lead spring-back may lead to inaccurate results.Dont ask me how I know that.
