I have this sudden and almost uncontrollable urge to own a satin stainless Single Six Convertible. I don't need it, won't do anything with it but punch holes in paper and practice trigger control. LGS has one for 550.00. Why should I NOT do it?
Is it the April issue by any chance? That first day of April is always good for "interesting" engineering feats.
Never mind, OP said it wad March issue.
cslinger, I had to chuckle when I read your post. Reminded me of the day I went to the range and put 100 rds of .357 magnum through my 3" SP101 and 50 rds through a rental Glock .40 S&W, just because I could. The web of my thumb was a little raw for a few days, but it was just plain fun. Boom...
Highly recommend using a steel punch over drilling. 1/16" punch, a few light taps with a hammer and it was out! Really like the MOE SL. Just need to get some parts to reinstall my sling.
Are there any tips, tricks, or gotchas with removing the front sling swivel on a Colt M4? I'm installing an MOE SL hand guard and the swivel needs to go.
Thanks in advance.
My PT1911 SS has over 1500 rds of mixed ammo through it from two factory and a variety of Chip McCormick mags. I can't remember a single FTF. My opinion, Taurus needs to fix it. How does the feed ramp look? Nice and smooth or any tooling marks?
