I'm finally on board with red dots. Suggest an "almost" Aimpoint.

Good lord, you dont need a $600 sight if you aren't going to war in Iraq. I have a Bushnell TRS-25 and its great, very reliable and solid. Its $100 vs. $600 for the Aimpoint Micro.

Would an AR be your only rifle?

Yep, I can use 5.56 for anything I need from plinking, to self defense to hunting. I can throw the .22LR conversion in it and use it for hunting and plinking, along with SHTF scenarios. Its the rifle that would leave my stable last because of its modularity.

    Need a value opinion on a Winchester 52 B

I found a 52 B at a local shop. I need a quick value of the rifle so I can make an offer. The rifle is on consignment, but I want to make a fair offer. Its a 52 B, Looks like an Olympic front sight and a Lyman rear (only the ring, looks like it has no aperture). The rifle does not seem to...

Best or really good drop in .22 LR conversion kits for AR's?

I've been running my CMMG chrome kit in my M&P for the last few years without problems with leading or excess wear.

Does Smith & Wesson make a good AR15?

My M&P15OR with free float tube and 3-9 scope will do under 1/2" at 100yrds with Federal Sierra BTHP. Trigger is good as well.

Comparing Ruger SP 101 to S&W model 617

I have and love both, but they are different. The 617 is head and shoulders more accurate with a better trigger. My SP101 took ALLOT of work to get the trigger to an acceptable level, and is accurate in its own right (although not as much so as the 617). That being said, I shoot my SP101...

    Own Only One .22LR Handgun?

My 617 with an aluminum cylinder is perfectly fine. Have not had one problem with it at all. I like my SP101 in .22LR or my 617 personally.

1958 Marlin Mountie? Sling swivel in the wrong place.

I have a 1958 Marlin Mountie in my possession for a "test drive" before I buy. The rifle is in good shape considering age with a few minor "nicks" on a few screws and some blue loss on the lever. However, the rear stock is confusing. It has a sling swivel in the area where the bullseye...

    Couple of subsonic .223 questions

Shooting this out of a 16" AR Carbine. Dont need it to cycle the action. I'm new to the reloading game and want to know a few things. First off, if I have a good supply of Unique can I use this as a good subsonic powder for my .223 loads? If not unique, what other powders would be best for...
