Your thoughts on a good/accurate .224 55 grain bullet for the price.

I have had great results in Midway USA Dogtown bullets. They are made by Nosler and shoot great in AR-15 and bolt guns. They run sales about $62.00 per 500. We used to get them a lot cheaper, like $42.00 per 500. Good shooting

    223 reload primers

If you are using the primer pocket uniformer, it will do nothing about the crimp. You must swage the crimp out, or some people cut it out by chamfering the very top outside edge a little.

    First time .45acp Reloading

Hint Win. 231 is a lot cleaner also.

    First time .45acp Reloading

Here is a tip for you. Seat and crimp in two separate steps. It stops the bulge for reliable feeding. I used to use Bullseye at 5.2 for XTP HP, but went with Win 231 and never looked back. 231 is the most accurate powder in a lot of load books for 45 ACP. I load for several 45acp, same load...

Do all EoTech suck or just some?

I have (2) Eotechs 1 still works like it should. #2 lost a lot of brightness and can not be used in daytime. I have swiched to Aimpoint Pro on another, and after a couple years am very happy with it. I will not buy any more Eotechs and I used to swear by them.

Looking to purchase my first AR. I could use input/advise.

I would buy a Colt 6920 and never look back. Great guns. Accurate and very dependable. You can buy one for about$900.00 New

    Two loads for 243

My best results were with H 4350 and 95 Nosler BT. Great for deer and coyote.

    How to clean your scope

I believe the brush or blower first. Next DO NOT put ant chemicals on your scope. You will ruin the coatings. The best way to clean high dollar optics is, with a very soft cotton cloth and distilled water. Dampen cloth and wipe lenses and dry. Do not polish no more than needed. This came...

Have $500, need a scope. Suggestions?

I have had many scopes in different powers. I am sold on Leupolds for clarity, ruggedness, and dependability. That is all I have on all my rifles. Spend a little more and get the VX-3 over the VX-2. The difference in price is minimal, but optical quality is a lot better. Buy a Leupold and...

PACT scale / dispenser combo - any reviews of accuracy?

I love mine. It is very accurate. I check on balance beam scale that I have trusted for years. I have checked it with check weights and it is right on the money. Long grain extruded powders are the worst on most dispencers. I always charge light and trickle to top off.

    Quality manufacturers of grips?

I have laser grips on mine and love them.

    Tumbler motor

I have a Berrys, and use alot. It is about 20 years old with no problems. I would buy another if craps out. Well worth the money and you can see what your brass is doing.

    Preferred 9mm headstamp for reloading?

I use most all brass, with Win, fed, and rp being my favorite. I will not reload any GFI, A-Merc and a few others.

    45 ACP Trim length

I think trimming pistol brass is a waste of time and effort. Clean, prime and load is all I do. Now rifle brass I am ANAL.
