Sako all the way. Great rifles and you would be hard pressed to find a smoother action anywhere.

    Any FN pbr-xp owners?

I stand by my statement that the PBR-XP's DO NOT have chrome lined barrels. Don't take my word for it though, call FN Tuesday and ask them yourself.

    Any FN pbr-xp owners?

"the PBR XP is a bit of an upgrade over the standard PBR. It has the claw extractor of the SPR and a fluted chrome lined barrel." While the PBR-XP does have the same extractor as the SPR, the SPR is the only one that has a chrome lined barrel. The XP is a great shooter nonetheless.

    6.5x55 Swiss?

I currently have a Cooper Phoenix in 6.5 x 55 for sale in the classifieds here. It is one of the best examples of a quality modern rifle chambered in this caliber that I know of.

    Rem Oil Availability ?

I use FP-10 for the lube bath after ultrasonic cleaning and find it works great. Afterwards, I drain and drip dry then lube rails etc with tw-25b and/or breakfee and my guns show VERY little wear so something is working right! I can't remember what I paid for a gallon of FP-10 but I think it was...

    6.5x55 CZ 550!

Wow! That's a great group and a beautiful rifle. I really look forward to producing something like that one of these days. I'm about to start on a home remodeling project so it might be a little while before I can get serious with the shooting again. Until then, I'll just continue to live...

    6.5x55 CZ 550!

Waddison-That's good to know about the Nikons. I think that's the route I'll probably go. Here are a couple of pics with the associated 6.5 x 55 Swede load data on them. The first is the one Dr. Lunde made with his Cooper and the second was made with the rifle I just bought. I hope I can...

    6.5x55 CZ 550!

Dr. Lunde over on SigForum posted at one time one of his 3 shot one hole (100yd) targets that he made with his Cooper 6.5 x 55 Swede. His load data showed that he used a Sierra 120 gr. Spitzer, 40.1 gr Varget and Lapua brass. Quite impressive results!!! In fact, I just bought a Cooper identical...

    Ultrasonic Cleaning Questions

For those who use ultrasonic cleaners, what procedure do you find works best for you? What cleaning/lubricating solutions do you use? I have had someone tell me that they use FP-10 for both cleaning and lubricating their guns and it works great for them. Anyone else try this? Thanks in advance...

    Question concerning Reloading .40cal

I most definitely agree with your advice to begin with updated manuals etc., and I plan to do that before touching ANYTHING! (The Speer reloading manual that I currently have is a version 7 or 8 I believe) Also, I like the idea of double sourcing loads-something so "common sense" but also...
