Well, I have shot Sigs and don't find them comparable to Glocks. The XD is something I am going to look into. I'm dumping my HK USP Comp in .40, and am looking at another Glock, or possibly an XD. I want to shoot the XD before I buy one though...

I wasn't really "complaining," just expressing cautious concern. ;) For now, I keep my carry G-19 in the same condition you describe for your home G-26. Extra measure of safety, and it only takes me an additional half second to draw and chamber a round. My bedside gun is a Glock 22...

Glock 17 for the range, Glock 19 for carry, Glock 22 for the nightstand. But I am getting bored, and am looking seriously at the Glock 35 to add diversity.

Now that I have several months of training under my belt, shot the IDPA qualified and participated in my first IDPA shoot, my instructor tells me I should think about better sights for my Glocks (I have three, and I am becoming a Glock lover, despite resisiting the "evil" Glocks initially....)...
