I just bought a Weatherby Vanguard 300 Win Mag. I'm curious if that line of scopes have any problems with holding zero.

I have a Bushnell Banner 6 x 24 or a 5 x 20 Nikon Monarch. Curious to whether they can hold zero from the recoil.

Found this at Bud's for $500.00. I decided on the 300 Winmag. 26" barrel. They have all the Weatherby calibers from .240 to .300. Including the new 6.5 -300. The .375 was a little more at around $600.00.

Check to see if the front sight is worn down. A friend of mine had a Mosin that shot maybe 3 feet high at 100 yards.

I don't that much about the Creedmore, but I've shot a Swede for the past 40 years. I know the Swede's potential is not realized due to the older mauser actions. Would a modern action with optimized reloads be comparable?

It is chambered for the 6.5x55 Swede as well. I'm giving that serious consideration.
