    Revolvers--hurray for fixed sighted models

I have about an even split between fixed and adjustable sighted revolvers, but I seem to always gravitate back to fixed for carry. I think it's because I started learning to shoot on fixed and they just feel the most natural to me. Likewise, I have semi-autos but they just don't feel like an...

Ruger SP101: Love it, Hate it, or...?

357 Terms, what kind of holster is that? I like the simplicity, spring clip and slight reverse cant. I have one that I'm looking to replace - but the maker is no longer around.

    442 finish questions

I have a 332 and a 442. I imagine the 332 has the same finish as a 642. My 332 hasn't been carried much - but there are places where the clear coat already seems to be coming off. My 442 was carried a lot years ago. It looks about the same as Jonny2guns pics above. To me, I prefer the finish on...

Is the S&W 442/642 the perfect pocket gun?

I currently have Pachmayr Compac Pros on my 442 for pocket carry. They feel good in the hand to me. It's my go to rubber grip on K-frames as well.

What is your ONE EDC piece??

357 Terms, what kind of holster is that? It seems similar to a rough-out, slight reverse cant one I have from Bell Charter Oak (Chicago Rocker). But they are no longer in business. It's my most worn holster.

    EDC'ing a larger frame revolver?

I regularly carry a 2.5” 686P or 3” 696-ND AIWB. For me, the weight is uncomfortable in a strong-side IWB holster for long periods of time.

    Options for Single-stack Polymer 9mm w/ Full grip/sight-radius

Hi Everyone, I haven't bought a new pistol in a number of years. I was wondering what is currently available with the following: 1) 9mm 2) Single-stack (thin) 3) Polymer (ideally w/ rust-resistant slide finish) 4) Full-sized grip (I have medium-sized hands and would like all fingers on grip)...

    Minimum caliber for dog protection

I have a 32 H&R Mag S&W 332 that I'm considering for dog protection during jogging. What do you guys think of this caliber for dog protection? It is the lightest J-frame I own at about 10 oz. and would prefer it weight-wise to my 442 .38 Spl at 15 oz. Thoughts?

    Single-stack Polymer 9mm choices?

Wow, seems like I will have to check out the CW9 and others in the Kahr line! I appreciate all the suggestions. I have a G19 which I do/did carry IWB. The size isn't really the issue. It's the weight. I recently injured my back and it will take some time to heal completely. I can still CCW...

    Single-stack Polymer 9mm choices?

Hi Everyone, I haven't bought any new guns for awhile now and don't know everything out in the market anymore. I was hoping people could chime in with options for a single-stack, polymer 9mm with a full firing grip without mag or grip extensions. For comparison, the Sig P239 would be the...

I carry a 442 in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster everyday, irregardless of what else I may be carrying.

    S&W 66 crane prob?

I have a 2.5" 66-1 that has the exact same issue. Like yours, the cylinder won't fall open under its own weight when unlatched. I bought mine almost 10 years ago (lnib)--haven't really taken the time to figure what exactly is going on. Am definitely curious as to what others say.

    revolver comparisons

+1 playing with different grips. I have preferred grips depending on caliber, frame size, and level of concealment vs. comfort needed.

Looking for IWB holster for 686 2"

I have a VM2 that works well (designed for a 696 but fits well). I would imagine something like the CTAC would work similarly.
