Bought an 1848 parts gun off Flea Bay.:what: The piece had no cylinder which I knew. The bottom of the grip has the markings H 1432. On the inside of the grip on the metal is the number 13. The bottom of the barrel has the number 13. On the side of the barrel is the notation "BLACK POWDER ONLY...

I guess I got ahead of myself. I was thinking of using a converter in a .44 caliber pistol. I used to shoot a lot of .45 Colt and have some boxes of 185gr bullets that are copper clad. I would like to load up some .45 Colt. :) in one of my black powder .44's.using a converter. Thanks, Spad
I notice all the call for lead bullets in the black powder pistols, is it possible to use alloy coated rounds in Uberti and some other quality pistols?:uhoh:
