Crickett .22LR won't extract spent rounds??

My boy's Crickett did the same thing until I took a copper bore brush for a 25 and put it in a drill. Hoppe's or Breakfree as a lubricant, scrub the chamber. The copper won't damage the steel, but will remove any gunk. Give it a try. If that does't work, give keystone a call. I recently...

    mandatory gun ownership?

I for one, don't want the government to tell me much of anything. I don't want them to tell me I have to, or can't own a gun. I don't want them knowing how much I earn with my job, or how much I spend on healthcare. I don't want them to tell me anything. Anyone trying to force me to do...

    Tennessee Valley Bullets

Yes. I have shot many thousands downrange. I highly recommend them. the website leaves a whole lot to be desired. I buy mine from the Reloaders Bench in Mt. Juliet TN, so I have never tried to mail order anything from them.

    Plated .32 ACP bullets

I am looking for a source of 71 grain plated round nose bullets. Berry's (my first choice) does not make any. Could someone point me to a source?

    Recipes for Younger Shotgunners Needed.

Steve, Great idea. I will repost mine in case somebody doesn't want to read the earlier post: Good 7/8 oz load in a 20: Remington 20 gauge RTL hull (or similar) Win 209 primer 22.3 grains of Hodgden LONGSHOT WAA20 wad 7/8 oz shot 1300 fps. Only develops 7,500 psi and takes a...

    Advice needed: Eye Dominance

I don't think anything is wrong with the boy, it appears his eyesight is better than mine when we play letter games on the highway. It sounds as though he is shooting just like donut (well not that good yet, but he is working on it). The style is identical. Donut, when you shoot large...

Used Youth gun stock for 1100

good 7/8 oz load in a 20 (sorry Steve, can't help with a 3/4 oz): Remington 20 gauge RTL hull (or similar) Win 209 primer 22.3 grains of Hodgden LONGSHOT WAA20 wad 7/8 oz shot 1300 fps. Only develops 7,500 psi and takes a good bit of time doing it. Talk about a mild load. The...

Used Youth gun stock for 1100

20 will do most everything a 12 will do. In my mind it comes down to personal preference. Pumps just take a little more work. If you are shooting doves so quick that you can't keep up with a pump gun, you will limit out in a matter of minutes..... As far as skeet, pumps feel better to me...

    Advice needed: Eye Dominance

Update: We have been working on this for the last three months, at his pace, and as an opportunity to enjoy a little time together. When we work from the left shoulder he rolls his head around and uses his right eye. If he weren't five, I would think he is just doing it to mess with me...

    Youth Rem 1100 20ga. $$$ Value $$$

Well Roscoe, I think that quote is a bit bizarre myself. If you can download a 12, it would also make sense that you can download a 20. My 12 year old daughter has the very gun you are looking at. Very mild recoil even with hot turkey loads that I made. Disclaimer - while shooting skeet a...
