xcgates - it was too late. By the time the cops approached these guys they had already offered to buy guns. Although the cop was right - it IS illegal to buy guns on the street - he could have handled it better. He's, obviously of the, "the only people who should have guns are the cops,"...
Anyone know of any? I've done a Google on the subject but get very little.
Searched the forum and the last post was for a 2007 calendar.
I got one - I think it was 2007 - that compared the different types of combat guns. It had really nice drawings of the guns with descriptions and specs.
And...
While I agree that the Mark III target is a great shoot - and uses relatively inexpensive ammo - my favorite is the Thompson SMG that I bought - of all places - at Dunham's Sports. I got a 50 rd drum magazine and now I can play gangster at the range.
And it's surprisingly accurate out to about...
"Do not use drill for dental purposes
Do not eat ornamental rocks
Do no eat toner
Coffee is hot! (Wow! I had no idea you served coffee hot)
I've got 100 more like them, long story short, stupid people will do stupid things."
And then try to sue someone for their own stupidity -...
I agree with what most have written so far - to err on the side of caution.
Even though it's legal to carry on campus - you've stated that it's illegal to carry in classrooms.
If I saw him with a bulge I'd discretely take him aside and remind him that he has "forgotten" to disarm and that...
Andrewsky, That's crazy. Chemical sprays banned? Would LE prefer people use more lethal methods to defend themselves or attack others?
Many of these things just make no sense to me.
Relevant? Probably not. Still dangerous to gun owners? Absolutely.
As tinygnat219 wrote, don't count him out. And don't be fooled by the fact that he hasn't done anything lately.
His kind worry me more when they're quiet. You just know their thinking of ways to mess with pro-gunners.
As others have already said, better than I could, it depends a *lot* on how they present it. As long as it doesn't come across as condisending, judgemental, etc. I'd take it as offered.
But I would no more take advise on gun safety from a non-gun owner (or an anti) than I'd seek marital advise...
I think what bothers me, most, about these antis is that they would be the first - and loudest - detractors if they *were* to be attacked or taken over by a tyrant (ie Hitler) and we weren't there to bail their sorry a$$e$ out.
As someone pointed out, we all have ties to the old countries no...
I have to agree with you joab. If you screw up you ought to own up, even if it's embarrassing.
I agree that ADs happen, and that there are unsafe guns, etc. but given the official excuse... please.
Regardless of what your reason(s) - If you're really concerned about who *any* of your possessions go to, *be specific* in your will.
And be sure to have it witnessed and notarized.
