What firearm was it that you first shot?

First gun I ever fired was a Browning T-Bolt .22 rifle when I was about 12 at Boy Scout camp, got my first rifle, a Marlin 39A Golden Mountie as a birthday present a few months later. Still have it, taught my son to shoot with it, and will be taking my grandson to the range with it real soon.

Progressive presses kinda spoiled reloading for me

I actually enjoy the time spend reloading on my Dillon 650, but I enjoy my time spent shooting a whole lot more. For me, the less time I "need" to spend reloading leaves me more time for shooting.

THR Single Shot Percussion And Flintlock Pistol Club

The underlying reason for that particular (ugly rubber) pistol grip is that it was something I had on-hand (took it off of a Mossberg 500 shotgun years ago) and that it was relatively easy to fit to the H&A action so I could take my (then) new creation out to the range - I just never got around...

THR Single Shot Percussion And Flintlock Pistol Club

Here's one of my single-shot pistols, this one's a home-built .45 that I put together on an H&A underhammer action.

What's the worst handgun you ever bought and still have?

Back in the mid-80's I made the mistake of buying a Sardius SD-9, it is still taking up space in my safe, I can't bring myself to inflict it on anyone else....

Feinwerkbau History No.1, .36 caliber Billinghust target pistol...

    The Marlin 39 Club

My 39A "Golden Mountie" (purchased new in 1966) was the first gun I ever owned, it still shoots great after all these years, hope to pass it on the my grandson someday.

    Most regretted gun purchase?

Sardius SD-9..... get my vote for the worst trigger pull (ever).

    New Caldwell G2 Chrono?

This is the ball-head that I bought to replace the flimsy pan/tilt head that comes with the tripod: http://www.ebay.com/itm/141575122501?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Makes setting up the chrono a whole lot faster (and far more stable)

Non Historical Guns, why not more of them?

Although they are almost always referred to as "non-historical" (downright unmentionable on some traditionalist BP forums), I am a big fan of the Numrich Arms / Hopkins & Allen under hammer rifles & pistols. Simple design, easy to maintain, and loads of fun to shoot.

What do you use your BP weapons for?

Pretty much just for fun - casual target shooting and plinking.

    blackpowder revolvers

Not sure what you mean by "regular" 777; I load my Pietta 1858 Remington with 25 gr. of 3 Fg Triple 7.

    H&A Underhammer peep sight

Thanks Doug. There are actually a number of currently in production receiver sights (Lyman 57SML and Williams WGRS-WR to name a couple) that will fit the curved H&A receiver, I am hunting for an original H&A "lollipop" peep sight that mounts at the very rear of the receiver in the factory...

    H&A Underhammer peep sight

Thanks, no luck with either of those places.... Numrich does have some H&A underhammer parts, but not the globe front or the rear peep sight for this model.

    H&A Underhammer peep sight

I recently acquired a old Hopkins & Allen (Numrich) "Off Hand" under hammer .45 muzzleloader in overall very good shape, but having a broken front globe sight and missing the receiver mount peep sight. From what's left of the globe, it looks like a Lyman 17 AML would be a perfect replacement...
