you could always get a 40 cal barrel and shoot 40's in it as well

i ust the hornady 90 gr xtp hp and have had good results with accuracy and expansion in wet newspaper . true the 380 is small but then thats probably the reason your carrying it , its not to big to carry at that moment . but then again any gun is always better than no gun.
