I'm not really concerned about what kind of aluminum it is, just the quality. I know I can't expect too much at that price point, but I'm trying to save as much money as possible while still getting a free float.
Ok, so I'm looking for a free float handguard on a budget and I want to know if anyone has used these. If so, what was your impression on them. Airsoft crap or decent quality?
The one I'm looking at specifically is this...
I mainly just want it to punch paper with, and maybe the occasional coyote. The only thing about the one you posted is that I have heard bad things about the freedom uppers, how does yours shoot?
Alright, here's the deal. I'm looking into building my first AR and I don't know too much about them. I'm looking at an upper from palmetto state armory. I know that there are better brands, but I'm on a budget.
Anyways, here's the one I'm looking at...
Between all of our bills and fixing up the house that we just bought, my budget is sadly next to nothing right now. Hopefully that will change soon, because I've been eyeballing a few new rifles and a lot of reloading supplies.
I don't know about Tennessee, but here in Oklahoma I've seen quite a few stray dogs make it into a grocery store. I'm sure that one of those attacking somebody is a little more plausible.
My first pistol was a Springfield 1911 when I was 16. I had to give my mom the money to go buy it for me.
Shame on me, but I wanted a 1911 because I've always seen them in the movies. I still have it, it's a pretty good shooter.
