I've had squibs w/ factory ammo as well. Key is paying attention to the sound of the round every time and checking if something seems wrong.

IMO, shooting a .22 at 300 yards with some wind, is like shooting F class at 1,000 with a .308. It's great practice for that.

Depends on the distance, probably Stingers up close. However, we shoot Blazer and Mini Mags at 330 yards with surprising accuracy.

M38's are getting scarce. $300 is about typical. They are fun to shoot. Way more fireball and kick than the longer 91/30's.
