I kind of want one in .45, but I bought a S&W M&P 2.0 and am pleased with it. If I come across one I'll buy it, but I'm not hunting one down. It seems a come down from my 97b being polymer and all, since the rest of my CZ's with the P-09 exception are all metal.

I had a malfunction on the LEOSA qualifying course. My never malfunction CZ P-01 just stopped working. The cause? A staple from one of the targets found it's way into my magazine. I never did figure out how. I did a malfunction drill and completed the course of fire. A million to one? YES...

Bulgarian, Russian, and East German, none do that but it really wouldn't bother me too much unless it fires also. If I smack my Colt Series 70 hard enough it will close, but not with normal use.

I have a .38 Special Police Turn in from Brazil. Perfectly good gun. That was quite awhile ago.$130.00 as I recall.

Great gun, and with 19 shot's the reload is in the gun. I've had mine for years and not one complaint although I paid more than $400.00!

Sportsman's Internet Store. They look legitimate but have a lot of negative posts.

I won't carry anything less than a .380 for self defense although I carry .22's all the time while hiking, and yes in Uncle Mike's nylon holsters. I will carry any CZ including the CZ 82 in 9 X18 MM. I'm still testing my Sig P320 full size and Compact 9 MM's. So far they are exceptional...

I'm not saying you are wrong, it's just my background (I got schooled on the M-16 too) that makes me uncomfortable with a dirty carry gun.

No way! I was a tyrant about this as a Squad Leader and as a Federal Firearms Instructor. Putting your .22 rifle or pistol away after a shooting session is not a big deal, really. Your carry guns? No. If I shoot it, it's cleaned that day or the next without a doubt.

The 50 year old thing is not engraved in stone. The CZ 82's I bought were no where near fifty years old when I bought them, same for the Makarov's. The Curio part means the design is no longer produced. Look at the C&R list the BATFE put's out and you'll be amazed by the guns on there.

I don't know anything about these guns but if an owner say's it works and hit's what he points it at, I tend to believe him. As far as price, how about a new CZ 82 for $180.00 w/extra magazine and holster delivered? yeah, back in the day, bit I'm still shooting it. There's decent firearms out...

If Malinowski fired first after the Agent's identified themselves all bet's are off on self defense. It could have been Malinowski was half asleep and someone was breaking in his door. Not enough information at this point. It does beg the question why didn't they arrest him at work?
