What are Pietta LeMat revo's going for these days?

I've found a Pietta made LeMat for sale locally. Seller is telling me it about 7-8yrs old. Never fired but it has been turned. Cavalry model. In the box. What is a fair value?

Will Ruger ever make ROAs again.?

As I understand it Ruger dropped the ROA because it really wasn't making all that much profit for them but also because they got freaked out about the gun being converted easily to cartridge use. Liability Lawyer crud strikes again. True? I dunno. In these times who knows?

    .45 Colt load using roundball?

Reasoning behind this smokeless powder reloading supplies are pretty much unobtainium these days. Already have a supply of BP, homemade wads, and plenty of home cast roundballs. I have primers but no powder or modern projectiles.

    Thoughts on .32ACP pocket pistols

I've tried a bunch of'em. Colt 1903, Walther PPK/s, Seecamp, Kel-Tec, Beretta 3032 and 81. Colt 1903 is a sweet gun. Shoots wonderfully. Mine aren't ammo sensitive. Accurate. Carry nicely. Downsides - expensive, not drop safe, safety lever will eventually fail on you. Difficult to replace. I've...

    .45 Colt load using roundball?

I picked up a Colt SAA last week. Since factory .45colt ammo is pretty much extinct these days I got to thinking about loading some up using BP, a lubed wad, and a round ball. I'm not after super duper accuracy just some fun range blasting ammo. I've a bunch of BP and .454 rb's so I thought...

Picked up an unusual one today. Pietta Dance replica

Originally I purchased this from a man near Angleton, Texas in a face to face deal about twenty years ago or so. I've long forgotten his name but I do remember driving out to his home to get it. Father-in-Law and I had gone to a lecture at the Brazoria County Historical Museum given by the...

    Zouave, good and bad.

I wouldn't be attaching the lug. Of course I could just buy a musketoon and go shooting. LOL

    Zouave, good and bad.

I looked at the new barrel but that's way more $ than I want to put into this. Making it a musketoon is relatively simple except for the sight mounting. I can't do that myself. I hadn't thought of just placing a washer on the nipple.

Oh don't worry. They will be shot. Both are polished finish. Both used but in very fine condition. One had aftermarket grips. Changed to matching grips. Now I gotta get proper leather. :D

    Zouave, good and bad.

The big pit is deep. It covers one entire land and groove. The land is missing there. Area is about 1/3in square.

    Zouave, good and bad.

A while back I picked up a Zoli Zouave cheap in an estate sale. Overall its in decent condition but it has a few issues. First problem is the nipple has been battered to death. Ordered a couple of replacements but they do not fit properly. The skirt it too high on the replacement nipples. I...

I'm in! (again) Things happen when you least expect it. Walked in a small shop Saturday morning not expecting to find anything BP related. This shop is mostly tacticool. What do I spy down in the bottom corner of the way in the back display case? TWO R.O.A.'s! Stainless fixed sight 5.5"s! Bought...
