on something like a .22, any cheapo like a Barska will work. You might consider the temps too cause the cheapos fog up quick. really with a .22 never have understood the need for a scope and I am 70.
I am looking at a low priced scope for hog hunting at night, I am using green lights now. The two I am considering are the ATN and Sightmark Wraith models, both under $1,000. I dont have ultra deep pockets and I realize this price range isn't near the best. Any input?
I had two no. 3s. one in .223 the other in .22 Hornet. Even with good Leupold scopes I couldn't get any decent groupings. I wish I still had them for my collection but they werent shooters.
I'm too old for all these new calibers. I'll stick with a few, mainly the .308, .257 Roberts, 7mm-08, .22-250 and the basic 6.5 x 55 Swede. that's all I need.
