    When reloading .357 magnums with a .38 die

    You mean nickel plated brass? Are the bullets cast and are they sized correctly? If the brass is resized it should be impossible to place in to the brass with out first expanding. Unless something is really wrong here.

    Just stocked up Powder, Bullets, etc.

    Looks good the powder that is not the firing pin. The last election cycle powder was very hard to get even after the price jumped up close to $10 a pound. I am seeing powder after 4 years of looking but the price has never came down.

    Its ok that's an older picture notice the Ipod and a flip phone? Hornady AP press is ok but could be better. I load 17 or 18 different calibers. Lots of change overs. thanks X-ring

    Am I too cautious in reloading?

    No not at all. You are doing it correctly, best to start out correctly later on you can cut back some if you like.
