    SKS scope recommendation

Well it seems more appropriate to post here than to start a new thread, since I have a very similar question. I bought this tri-rail receiver scope mount and scope combo the other day (which took a good deal of filing to make fit): http://www.combathunting.com/product.cgi?product=5686&group=...

    Davis Industries Derringer Parts

Oh, on another note, the safety ball and lock ball are the same part. So if one had to they could take out the safety and use that bearing for the lock ball I would think.

Well from the sounds of it then I think I may just keep that myself to have around instead of letting my Mother have it. I wouldn't want her to get hurt with it.

    Davis Industries Derringer Parts

Thanks for the advice. I know the lady shot it at least once when she had it, so it 'should' be safe to shoot, but I'll inspect it right good first, once I get a bearing so I can use it again. It wobbles left and right for the most part. Not so much up and down. But it did strike me as a bit...

    Davis Industries Derringer Parts

Well no argument there. But she has a couple better pistols she can carry. They just won't fit in her purse, this is more of a backup. Besides, I don't believe in getting rid of a gun once I get it (with the exception of giving it to family). I'll have to get a hold of Cobra. Might be the only...

    Davis Industries Derringer Parts

Yeah, I know they're a cheap gun, but any gun is better than no gun. And I'm a believer that if you can get any functional gun for $50 you should take it. I have a lot of much nicer guns for showing off, shooting, and carrying. I got this mainly so my mother could pack it in her purse because...

    Davis Industries Derringer Parts

Well, $50 is what I payed :). It's in nice condition, minor wear. And of course a missing part now..... :(

    Davis Industries Derringer Parts

Hello, I just picked up a Davis Industries Derringer for next to nothing (and on a side note, what's it worth used?). It looks to me like it's an "O-32" or "0-32" from reading the barrel, but from what I've found on line I'd say it's actually a "D-32". It's a .32 caliber. I need to find a...

    CCW and Public Restrooms

I stick the pistol under my arm, as if I had a shoulder holster on, and assuming I don't forget and move my arm it stays right there. I guess I would put it under the arm I don't wipe with though....

What to do if you find a gun?

Well I hope I edited it good enough for everyone. It probably was a bit excessive.... but I refuse to say nothing about it. I just can't grasp why people want to be like that.

What to do if you find a gun?

jfdavis58: What is wrong with you? Have I done something to you that I am unaware of? Why would you speak to me in such a way? Did you even READ your own post? Calling me a little kid... slobbering all over the gun... You realize I would like nothing more than to stomp your teeth out of your...

What to do if you find a gun?

First off, thanks again for the polite helpful posts, I appreciate them. What I'm going to do is call him, suggest that he call the police to inquire about it, and go from there with their advice. What he actually does I have no control over.

What to do if you find a gun?

JohnBT: that sounds like a pretty good plan. Probably what I'll try to do, as well as possibly calling the cops. Ultimately it's not up to me, I'm just trying to get some advice for the kid that found it. chbrow10: That probably isn't a bad idea, but I didn't find it, and it's a bit late for...

What to do if you find a gun?

Thanks for the replies. OldMac: No, it wasn't my or his property. I'm not sure where he found it, but telling the owner might not be a bad idea, in case they do know who it belongs to. Not sure why I hadn't thought of that. I live in a small town/country area, so the cops should be far more...
