My 19x is always on me when off duty with a full 20 rounds. With the heavy clothing I’ll be wearing I’ll also have two spare 19 round mags. Considering these thread comments that looks like the way to go. If that doesn’t work that’s a really bad day and would mean the good Lord is saying my time...

Not sure, it’ll be my first visit. We’ll just be hiking but I will have my 4x4 4runner if I get the itch. The only caliber handguns I own are all 9mm but I can hit what I’m shooting at pretty well. I’ll be concealing my Glock 19x.

I’m getting a cabin in Idaho Springs. Gonna research some good trails to hit in that region.

I have no concerns. Just wanting some feedback. Anytime I’m wandering around in the country for leisure/fun I like to sling a long gun. I won’t be hunting anything. I’m not worried about the 2 legged varmits as I deal with those for a living.

I’ve owned a couple 30-30’s when I was younger (and stupider). I should’ve never let em go. I may just borrow my buddies and get another one when I get the chance.

Trust me, my sidearm is always on me as well. Can’t go wrong with a slung rifle plus a sidearm.

I’ve got a buddy willing to lend me his 30-30. That seems like an adequate option.

Not worried, just never go unprepared any where I go. Again, I wish I had more options but that’s what I’m working with this time around.
